So wet and cold, but so worth it!

Today was my first time Autocrossing in the rain. It was quite the experience! There were 70 drivers divided into two heats and it rained nearly the entire time. There were puddles in the corners, water falling endlessly from the sky, and so much fun to be had. I am surely glad that I dressed for the rain and that I drove in the first heat, because it really opened up while I was working the second heat. Anyways, the driving part was just wonderful. My first time with summer tires and even in the wet, these are so so much better than my all seasons ever were! I cannot wait until next weekend when I can run in the dry. I wish I could fit in my car with a helmet on and the top up, I'd probably be less wet. But then again, autocrossing without the top down would seem way too odd to me!
